All campsites are located right on the grounds where all the excitement takes place. Most are buried deep in the wooded areas, allowing for a fair degree of privacy, shade, and sense of outdoor adventure. All of these natural campsites come complete with a fire pit, but do not include running water, electricity, or hookups for RVs (although RVs and campers are welcome). Pick-up trucks loaded with firewood will cruise around, selling wood for your fire-building needs. You may park your car at your campsite, as long as it is inside the area allotted to you. Only one car is allowed per campsite. Only those who rent a campsite will be allowed to drive their car into The Crystal Forest. All others will have to park their cars in the Parking Lot and take a shuttle bus over. Attendants will check all cars entering The Crystal Forest for a parking pass (one parking pass is sent to each person who buys a campsite which must be placed on the inside windshield on the drivers side). At the campsites, radios and noise from any source should be kept extremely low after 11 PM. All campsites can be easily located using the map on the back inside cover. The rules for the campsites are listed below:

Campsites (roughly 30' by 30') You may set up three tents. Vans, trucks, and other similar size vehicles are considered a tent for these purposes in addition to counting as a vehicle. If you have an RV you may not have any tents set up at your campsite. A maximum of 10 people may use this area. If you purchased a campsite you will receive 10 wristbands to distribute amongst the campers staying at your site. All tents must be kept at least 5 feet apart from each other and tents must be kept 10 feet away from an adjacent camper's tent or from a fire pit.

Officials will be inspecting campsites to make sure that everyone is following these rules. Due to regulations, any tents set up in an area outside of an official campsite will be taken down. Also, cars parked in The Crystal Forest outside of an official campsite will be towed.

Set-up / Tear-down:
During the daytime on Thursday the events are purposely kept light. This is the official setup day for the Gathering, allowing those with campsites time to set up their gear. During the day, all of The Crystal Forest's normal benefits (i.e. swimming), the Merchandise Pavilion, the Snack Area, and the specialty services (i.e. the Information Tent) will be open, but almost all of the Gathering's special events and entertainment will not be. Keep in mind that no one may set up their campsites sooner than Thursday at 8AM, and we ask that you do not show up earlier than this under any circumstance. On Monday, nothing will be open whatsoever, as this is the official tear-down day. Everyone will need to be cleared out of The Crystal Forest and the Parking Lot by 10 AM.
