Somewhere, deep in our childhood memories, every one of us can recall a trip to the carnival, or the circus, or to some fresh park where imagination took over, little eyes got big and everything was just greater, better and more amazing than anywhere else. As we get older, our memories get crowded with other images and experiences, some we take on ourselves and others are forced upon us, some we carry no matter how hard we try to let them go. Somewhere that special place calls to us, inviting us to come back as the people we have become. Some of us may hear its voice in a song, or in the words of a good homie, or echoing back from the darkness that surrounds us. Some of us have heard it clearly, and call it the Dark Carnival.
The Gathering of the Juggalos is a place where Juggalos come to find what they are seeking. Some have found it already, and are coming to experience it again and again. For some this may be just a four day relief from the everyday and the ordinary, for others it may be a spiritual event thay will carry with them forever. Psychopathic Records hosts this event once a year to make sure all the fans who support us get a chance to share in what we do, and really experience what we are about. It's our way of giving up all the flavor that we can pack into one event, to give Juggalos a chance to celebrate everything they get from the music in a safe, controlled, and utterly devastating environment. It's our way of saying we really mean it when we say FAMILY.

Psychopathic Records is proud to announce the Juggalo event of the year: The 5th Annual Gathering of the Juggalos! The Gathering is without doubt the largest event Psychopathic puts on, and unquestionably the favorite event of fans everywhere. In one weekend you can catch spectacular performances from every artist on Psychopathic Records and a myriad of other heavy-hitters in the underground music scene, gasp and awe at the finest in high-flying hardcore wrestling, hear all the behind-the-scenes news from your favorite Psychopathic artists, pick up all of the phattest HatchetGear to ever be created, get autographs from the performers, participate in devastating and daring contests, part all-night with thousands of Juggalos, and much, much, MUCH more! It's an event that truly defies just description, too powerful and too legendary for words to do it justice. It is THE event to be at!
This year's Gathering of the Juggalos will once again be at the Crystal Forest Campground, located in Garrettsville, Ohio, outside of Cleveland. It all begins on Thursday, July 15th, and comes to a climatic conclusion on Monday, July 19th at 10 AM: a full four days of flavor!
Look for more information in the weeks to come as to the specifics of who and what will be at the Gathering. For those Gathering vets out there, you already know that you'll be seeing all of your Psychopathic favorites: Twiztid, ABK, Zug Izland, Esham, Colton Grundy, Jumpsteady, and, of course, the one and only INSANE CLOWN POSSE. We'll be announcing the rest of the special guests as we get closer to the Gathering (we wouldn't want to spoil all the surprises right now, would we?).
The Crystal Forest:
This gigantic 250-acre wooded campground is a paradise of natural beauty, nestled among the cliffs and woods of Ohio, just 30 minutes southeast of Cleveland. It can hold hundreds of campers due to its vast number of campsites, and has plenty of bathrooms, shower facilities, and drinking water to provide for all basic needs. Dirt roads and nature paths connect all campsites to the event areas, and allow ninjas with campsites to pull their cars right up to park beside their tents. Besides its lush woods, jutting rock formations, and two small fishing lakes (Shadow Lake and Oracle Pond), the greatest feature of The Crystal Forest is the huge, centrally located, Lake Lotus. This beautiful lake, complete with beach, is open for swimming, allowing you to cool off from the rays of the hot summer days. |
