2000 Gathering of the Juggalos - Novi, Michigan

The new millenium brings a new era to human history, and the creation of the Gathering brings a new era of unity to Juggalos! From this fateful point forward, they will assemble once a year, to pack all the love and mayhem of being a Juggalo into one place and time. The first Gathering of the Juggalos goes down where it all began, just outside Detroit in Novi, Michigan at the Expo Center. The shows took place outside, on a specially-made stage, while the games and events went down inside. All the Psychopathic artists did seminars and autograph signings, as they would (and will) at all future Gatherings. Psychopathic homies the Kottonmouth Kings also played their first Gathering show. One of the more memorable events this year was an enormous Haunted House filling the corridors of the Expo Center. The event was so exciting, unique, and fun that at the time, it was unknown whether the Gathering would ever happen again.

2001 Gathering of the Juggalos - Toledo, Ohio

After getting away with it once, it had to happen again. Like a true carnival, the Gathering travelled on to a new town, and settled in Toledo, Ohio, at the Seagate Center. The shows, wrestling, seminars, games, and events were all inside this time, like a circus under one giant Big Top. Special guests at the shows included the Suicide Machines, Marz, and Psychopathic homies Three Six Mafia and Vanilla Ice. Of course ICP and Twiztid played, but Juggalos also got to see Dark Lotus and Blaze Ya Dead Homie with ABK as his hype man. Wrestling events included a Vampiro seminar and Mad Man Pondo applying the pain in a wrestling school. A real live freak show took the stage that year and showed what scary really is. Random but remarkable flavor included a giant rock wall, a fortune teller, and a flying saucer!

2002 Gathering of the Juggalos - Peoria, Illinois

The Dark Carnival moved on once again, and the Gathering came to the Civic Center in Peoria, Illinois. Again indoors, the Juggalos packed that place, to the point where ninjas were spilling right out the doors! This was ABK's first solo Gathering show. Psychopathic took the wicked shit to the next level, when Esham came out to perform, and his signing to the label was announced. Special guests included Mack 10, along with Juggalo favorite Bubba Sparxx! Featured wrestlers included Sabu and Disco Inferno. This was the last Gathering before the Sixth dropped, and two highlights were an emotional ICP seminar, and the unveiling of the Wraith silhouette at the end of their set. For many Juggalos, witnessing this flavor with thousands in attendance was one of the defining moments in Juggalo history.

2003 Gathering of the Juggalos - Crystal Forest, Garrettsville, Ohio

In 2003, the carnival moved over the rivers, through the swamps, and into the woods, settling in the Crystal Forest, otherwise known as Nelson Ledges in Garrettsville, Ohio. For the first time completely outdoors, Juggalos were able to camp out under the stars and bask directly in the Diamond Rain! This Gathering also lasted four days, which gave Juggalos time to soak up the natural beauty of the park on top of all the Psychopathic flavor. Guest performers included Bushwick Bill, Killah Priest, and the return of homies Vanilla Ice and the Kottonmouth Kings. On top of new games and contests, like paintball and cliff jumping, Juggalos could also see their favorite artists wheeling by on golf carts, popping in at events and campsites unexpectedly. Guest wrestlers included Shane Douglas and Nosawa. A new guest star appeared as a ball of flame in the middle of the night, as the Burning Man Ghost!

2004 Gathering of the Juggalos - Crystal Forest, Garrettsville, Ohio

The stars seem to have aligned over the Crystal Forest, and for the first time, the Dark Carnival chose to stay in the same place. Once again in Garrettsville, the Crystal Forest called the Juggalos back. Paintball, swimming, and golf-cart ninja tactics were back in effect along with the addition of free tattoos, and the Juggalos were feelin' the flavor. Special guests included Tech-N9ne, Old Dirty Bastard, Vanilla Ice and Juggalo favorite, Kurupt! This Gathering may have stayed in the same place, but it was still full of fresh surprises, including a surprise performance by Bone Thugs in Harmony, and the Psychopathic Rydas performing as the Mystery Seminar! JCW saw more stars than ever, with matches by Jerry Lawler, Dusty Rhodes, Terry Funk, Monty Brown, Kid Kash, and the retirement matches of both Hollywood Chuck Hogan and Psychopathic's own Rude Boy. The Gathering’s return to the Nelson Ledges was so well-received by the Juggalos that it was determined that the Crystal Forest would be the site of the Gathering for years to come.
